Perfecting Your Smile

You don’t have to be satisfied with just an ‘ok’ smile.

Many patients that come to the Confidental Clinic in Clapham Junction for cosmetic dental treatments do so to correct relatively significant issues such as a missing tooth (dental implants) or a very crooked smile (orthodontics).

Whilst more complex cosmetic dentistry is highly effective at correcting these issues, it does not have to be the case that your teeth are really badly affected before you seek attention. Minor imperfections can also easily be rectified and quite cost-effectively too.

Even those of us who have healthy teeth that are in good condition are likely to have some imperfections. Whilst other people probably don’t even notice them, to us, those slightly discoloured teeth or a minor misalignment of a tooth can be more than irritating. In some cases, e.g. a crooked tooth, if not corrected, this can also become worse over a period of time. Our cosmetic dentist team are always happy to discuss with patients from the local Clapham and Battersea areas, any dissatisfaction that they may have with their teeth and offer solutions to help improve them.

Teeth whitening

One of the more common procedures that we carry out at the Confidental Clinic for those seeking a better smile is the ever popular teeth whitening procedure. This non invasive procedure is fast acting and immediately effective and can be done just before a big personal event. It may, however,  be better to have the treatment several days in advance as some patients experience a temporary sensitivity shortly afterwards. Our convenient home whitening treatment also allows you to perform this procedure in the comfort of your own home.

Whilst conventional orthodontics can be used on badly crooked teeth, systems such as the Inman Aligner or Damon Braces can also be used to reposition teeth that are slightly out of alignment and create for you a much improved smile with relatively little inconvenience. And quickly too!

Dental veneers

Finally, it can be frustrating to have perfectly even and white teeth, only to chip a small amount from one of them. Depending on each case, it may be possible to restore the tooth to its correct shape using cosmetic bonding. This is not always the best method to use though, and, for cases where it is not appropriate, dental veneers may be offered by our cosmetic dental team.

If you are not entirely happy with your teeth or smile, why not pop along to the Confidental Clinic to see what we can do to rectify this. Please call us today on 020 7801 9060.
